What’s New in CloudContactAI: A Faster Platform, Tighter Security, and Smoother Compliance

by Joel Garcia | Oct 2, 2026 | How to, SMS, Technology

This past week our engineering team put most of its energy into performance and reliability work that happens below the surface. It is the kind of effort you notice as snappier page loads and more dependable sends rather than a new button in the UI. Here is a rundown of what shipped, along with a couple of behind-the-scenes investments that make the whole platform steadier.

A Noticeably Faster Platform

We kicked off a focused performance initiative aimed at one of the most common sources of slowness in any web application: the database doing more work than it needs to on every single request.

Previously, each authenticated request was reloading account, subscription, and settings data straight from the database, even when that information rarely changes. We reworked this so that your account details, subscription plan, and account settings are cached and read from fast in-memory storage instead of being fetched and re-assembled on every call. We also stopped loading large related records eagerly when they are not needed, replacing them with lightweight lookups and projections.

The practical effect is less load on the database and faster responses across the product, especially during high-traffic periods when a lot of users and campaigns are active at once.

Faster Country and Phone Number Lookups

Country code and phone data is referenced constantly throughout the platform. We moved this information into a cache so it is served instantly rather than queried from the database each time it is needed. Alongside this, we trimmed how much related data gets loaded when you work with client records. You should see quicker response times anywhere country or phone details come into play.

Clearer Handling of Failed Payments

Billing should never be ambiguous. We tightened how the platform responds when a payment or subscription charge comes back as failed, so the system now surfaces a clear error instead of letting a failed payment slip through quietly. This makes subscription and trial states more accurate and easier to act on.

Stronger Account and Campaign Security

We hardened the checks that make sure every request is tied to the correct client and account. This multi-tenant safeguard now validates account access more strictly and returns a clear, well-defined error when something does not line up, rather than failing in an unexpected way. We backed these changes with a solid set of new automated tests so the protections stay in place as the platform evolves.

Smoother A2P Compliance and Registration

Carrier registration for SMS messaging is one of the more involved parts of running a compliant texting program. Every A2P 10DLC brand and campaign ultimately clears through The Campaign Registry (TCR), the industry body carriers use to vet senders, so our compliance tooling is only as good as how closely it tracks what TCR actually requires. This week we expanded our compliance service with new campaign registration handling, including the ability to submit an appeal when a campaign registration needs a second look. We also improved how registration status updates and notifications flow back into the platform from carrier systems, so the state you see reflects reality more quickly.

More Reliable Email Sending

We made a small but meaningful change to how pending email messages are picked up for sending, pulling them from the primary data source to avoid timing gaps. The result is more consistent email delivery when a batch of messages is waiting to go out.

Behind the Scenes: Reliability Investments

A few of this week’s changes are pure plumbing. We tuned database connection pooling on several messaging services, refined internal event handling so that account and plan changes propagate cleanly to the right places, and improved cache eviction so cached data stays fresh after an update. None of this changes what you see in the product; it means fewer surprises and quicker resolution when something does need attention.

CloudContactAI is built by AllCode, an AWS Advanced Consulting Partner, and this kind of caching, multi-tenant hardening, and reliability work is the same AWS-native engineering discipline AllCode applies across its platforms.
